Magnetic strainers have been designed to stop the impurities carried by water in the form of solid phase and suspension (magnetic slime) of very high comminution without the danger of handicapping the necessary circulation. Magnetic strainers are installed mainly before i.e. heat exchangers, pumps controlling and measuring equipment, both in heat centres and heat distribution networks.
