Richfields Corporation was founded in 2001 between several private investment groups from the Philippines and Hong Kong along with individuals with decades of manufacturing experience in China. The majority of the company is now held by a private investment group out of Manila, Philippines with offices in Hong Kong.

Richfields focus has consistently been customer service and providing its customers the best response times coupled with quality products. Initially founded as an injection molder, in 2004 Richfields began producing molds in China for its clients internationally. Richfields currently produces in excess of 300 molds per year primarily for export, or to be run at its China facility.

In 2004 Richfields also formed a joint venture with Cypress Industries (www.cypressindustries.com) in the USA. Cypress Industries also has plastic injection molding and tooling capabilities located in Austin Texas. Through this strategic partnership Richfields is able to provide high volume and low cost tooling and molding solutions for clients worldwide from Asia and Africa to Europe, while Cypress Industries is able to provide quick-turn tooling and molding along with tooling support for low to high volume clients in the America's. If a client desires shorter lead times, or less inventory in its supply chain, tools may be manufactured at Richfields and run in the USA.
