I always wanted to design and make my dresses by myself, and liked to knit from woolen yarn and cotton threads. I have been clothed in my "own", original sweaters, dresses, shawls and skirts. Starting in 1989 I run a small handicraft business and my products have been enjoyed with appreciation. Next, I changed my profession (I am philologist). Now, as I have seen all these fine things that my husband has done, I decided to make come back to knitting. I would like to make with my own hands something unique and enjoyable for somebody's eyes.

I love wood. It has inside itself warmth from the sun, and can be worked by tools in order to make fine and useful things. When I was a boy, I was fascinated by wood working. Next a man showed me, what Marquetry Art is, and how to do it. I have learned to cut flowers and ornaments with a knife. Since 1976, I worked for a firm conserving and renovating old furniture. I was charmed by them: clear proportions, richness of ornamentation and intricacy. I was very happy to restore them their original beauty. Next, I worked for other firms, in different professions, but three years ago I decided to make my come back to Marquetry, and try my hand at incrustation would like to do something unique, and with my own hands. Maybe this is a luxury in our times of mass production time, but it shows our style and individuality.

We are convinced that handicrafts are in fashion now. We would like to help other handicraftsmen distribute their products in world markets.
