The firm BAUPOL Co. Ltd. was founded in Poręba (near to Zawiercie) in 1992. At the begining, the company occupied with making building constructions.

When the main shareholders had changed the company channeled its business into totally new direction. Since October 1'st 1994 the "Baupol" Company has started to rent one of the industrial plant located in Jana Kiepury Street No. 5,Sosnowiec, from the bankrupt sindicate P.P. Sosnowieckie Odlewnie Staliwa "SOSTAL".

The foundry has started to run its business as : "BAUPOL"Co.Ltd. in Poręba. Industry No. 1"SOSTAL"
in Sosnowiec.

Continuing cast steel production which was the tradition since the begining of the last century, was the aim of the chief shareholders. Therefore in 1997, after the law regulations, they decided to buy out the syndicate's company. Then firm was changed into "BAUPOL" Co.Ltd. Cast Steel Foundry and Sosnowiec was the place where the head office was settued down. The members of the board, managed to rebuild building structures, start totaly new investments like wiring natural gas with measurement and reduction station. They also ordered to convert former garage into pattern department. Machine - repairs, equipment - repairs, and finally, production process were iniciated.

The customers number has increased significantly. Now the company specializes mainly in casting steel for machine industry and repair needs of companies in Poland as well as many countries abroad. Moreover, the company has obtained a number of certificates and also it has established and applies a quality management system ISO9001:2000 certified by TÜV Nord Cert.
