ERMA has been founded in 1996 in Szczecin as a joint venture of Czech group PETER and the Polish private investors. Former successful projects helped creation of a modern company with skilful workers. The production is based on polyester resin laminates reinforced with glass fibres, intended for the automotive and railroad industry, agriculture and construction equipment, and the marine industry.

Between 1997 and 2000, ERMA was the only producer and supplier of Škoda Felicia hard-tops for Škoda Auto Poland S.A. in Poznań. In this period, apart from the four kind of hard-tops, we delivered other elements made of polyester. ERMA offered a number of different products made of polyester resin laminates. The elements have been made mainly for German customers.

Since January 2001, ERMA has started manufacturing sailing yacht elements. The production is entirely exported. Up to December 2005, ERMA has build over 400 units of yacht components.

In 2005 ERMA introduced a few new projects. As for today, ERMA offers a rowboat ERMA 300, its variant with a sail ERMA 300S, a sailing yacht ERMA 670, and a motorboat SunTrip 750.

Independent of yacht making, ERMA produces for tramway body elements like: front shields, facing bumpers and lamp holders. ERMA's production capacity has not been fully exhausted.
